It is surrounded by various local eateries and convenience stores, Houze Hostel is only 1 metro stop from Zhongshan Station and Huashan 1914 Creative Park while it takes 2 metro stops to Taipei Arena, Beimen Station and Taipei Main Station. Near MRT making it convenient, friendly staffs, a lot of cubicles for bathroom and toilets, slippers provided, heater water and pressure of it was great, shared area was comfortable, wall decoration at shared area is beautiful and convenient when planning for itenery, nearby Mcdonald and 7-11 is convenient, make up area with hair dryer provided was awesome.

The room size is quite squeezy for 4 people although bed was big for 2 people each. There are sounds like luggage dragging or people walking from the ceiling, was at 212 room. Not all bathroom have hook.

The quality of this hostel is excellent. I would like to stay there again in the future.

The quilts are comfortable. It also made it convenient to have a light switch right on the wall next to your bed, so that way you go to sleep. The laundry service is good, but I wish if they provide any Tidepods over there unless if I have brought some. In addition, it is also very convenient to have access to a subway nearby.

Overall, for some people who have never been to Taiwan, it was an awesome experience at the hostel.

The beds were super comfortable and the tv had many channels. Honestly, some of the best beds ever. Staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. Location is superb, the station is right outside..

We knew it was in the basement, so it was expected, but it's really dark in the room obviously. It's a hostel, so that's normal. Another thing that bothered me is how unclean the shower rooms were. A little bit more effort and the shower rooms would be clean.

Location to train station.

Location to train station. A fair number of local eateries and convenience store in the back lane.

Hostel was at full occupancy and with the rather low number of toilets it should be cleaned more regularly instead of once a day. Clothes hooks in the room is lacking.

Great for solo stay

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Akou and Weiny who helped me on whatever questions or requests that I asked. 謝謝！

A little bit noisy during the weekend when people return late and talk in the corridors. Can't really fault the hostel for it though.

Exellent location to travel to any attractions.

Exellent location to travel to any attractions. Friendly staff. Very clean and had no inconvenient at all with the shared toilets and bathrooms. Highly recommended.

We were in the 20x rooms and could hear the steps of people walking on the ground because the hostel is in B1 underground. But after 10pm, the noise is less and back again around 6am. Not a big minus though, only a note for those had trouble to sleep. We still enjoyed our stay very much.

The room is small but well-organized, clean and comfortable.

The room is small but well-organized, clean and comfortable. We can charge our phone in the room but not having to using the adapter. Eventhough the operating hour is from 8am, we can leave the card key in the room and leave for our early train. Besides, the hostel provides you with a room for placing your baggage in case you arrive before the check-in time.

Check-in time should be earlier.

Houze is located in the basement, and I was worried at first...

Houze is located in the basement, and I was worried at first, but for two nights it was nevertheless comfy in our private two-person room. The TV was a good bonus. Laundry service was easy to use and the MRT being close by is great especially when we needed to get to the airport at the end of our stay. The bathroom was spacious, with a counter for drying your hair or doing make-up, though the shower stalls could perhaps use an extra hook or two. Also stepping out of the shower was an icky affair, as our wet feet coupled with the subsequent slipper prints made it messy to get dressed. So perhaps a mat or a stepping board would be a useful addition.

A hostel that will make feel like your home

The hostel is located at songjang nanjin station after exit 6 and you will see their signboard that will leads a ver accessible place to found. The room and ambiance are well maintained and clean facilities. The staff are also friendly to their guest, without any regrets of helping you towards your journey around their country.
